Marathon Maniac 2026

The ultimate end-of-year challenge. On Monday 28 December, the 5th edition of the Marathon Maniac takes riders through the forests, trails and climbs around Leuven, starting from Heverlee. Choose from five MTB distances (25–136 km) or five gravel distances (40–136 km). The longest MTB route, 136 km with 1,900 m of climbing, grew out of Frans Claes’s original Leuven marathon route. All routes are GPS-only, with up to four feed stations stocked with La Primafit nutrition, homemade cake and pancakes. At the finish there are Belgian fries, a cold beer, a finisher medal, showers, a bike wash and guarded bike parking.
